RetrOskins was formed in 2008 over the alarming increase in the incidence of skin cancer in Australia. Skin memory is fact, especially from birth to seven years. This means if you are burnt once you have 4 1/2 times more chance of melanoma skin cancer by the age of 45 years. RetrOskins is a sole voice trying to have the message put out that we need to cover our childrens body fully. "Slip Slop Slap" and Anti Cancer campaigns have made some difference but we need to do far more.

Taking this firmly into account RetrOskins have developed a range of swimwear both contemporary in style and colour. We may be going full circle from the 1900's in our swimwear but our designs are compatible with current fashion trends.The features of our range are the innovative collar that protects the neck and full body coverage including thumb hooks so the sleeves will cover the hands. Our bright and individual designs makes children easier to locate on a busy beach or local swimming pool.

The main point is that RetrOskins covers the whole body. We are reclaiming the future of our childrens precious bodies.
